Equity has a long standing involvement with tennis in Toronto and is the major sponsor of the iconic Toronto event, the Equity Classic.  The Equity Classic is part of the Women's Tennis Association's (WTA) tour and is played in the first week of January each year at the Equity Tennis Centre in Toronto.

In recent years, some of the world’s most iconic female athletes have headlined the Equity Classic. Superstars such as Ana Ivanovic, Venus Williams and Caroline Wozniacki have wowed crowds and created a buzz around the tournament.

Outside of Toronto, Equity is also a proud supporter of Tennis around the country.
