Equity GetWise - financial literacy for kids
We know that good habits start at an early age. That's why we’re committed to making sure the next generation learn about managing their money with Equity GetWise. It’s an educational programme in primary and intermediate schools and it’s part of our wider commitment to the local community. The programme is fun and interactive for kids and delivered by independently trained facilitators working with students in the school classroom. And the best part? Equity GetWise is free to any primary or intermediate school, all they have to do is register.
School Banking teaches kids to save
Equity believes the younger we can help kids learn to save, the better off they’ll be in the future. Our School Banking programme aims to do just that. Any schools that bank with Equity can register for the programme, and receive all the information and equipment they’ll need for their students to save money every week. Students will see their savings build up in their very own Headstart account, helping keep them enthusiastic and motivated to continue saving.
By working with local schools from all over the country, Equity hopes to teach the next generation of kids to be even better savers. Primary schools and parents or caregivers can find out more information about School Banking here.
Headstart product terms, Personal Banking Terms and Conditions and service charges apply and are available together with Equity Credit Union Plc’s current Disclosure Statement free of charge from any Equity branch.
